This conventional rod is for use with a bait for reef fishing or bottom fishing and designed to be durable and strong enough to lift a bigger snapper from the bottom. If you want to catch the bigger fish, the 30-40# line weight rods are equipped with a Fuji Heavy Duty Graphite reel seat and slick butt with an alloy gimbal which makes it easy for quick removal from a rod holder.
